We updated our block center with a couple of items from the pet supply store.

View in browser Last week, our teachers decided that our block center needed a little freshening up. Nothing major, just a little rearranging and something new to add a little spark to the children's play. Now where can you go to get something new for the block center? To the pet store of course! Do you see those caves sitting on top of the shelf? Well they came from the pet store. We often head over to the pet store to pick up really cool caves, bridges, logs or other things to go along with our play animals. From my experience, however, you need to take your time and think through anything you purchase. Some of the caves are easy to break while others are nice and sturdy. Our caves are always a big hit and do eventually get broken or worn out. I think our last set lasted a little over a year, but they were played with every single day.
